Eccleston George are a collective of creatives working in the realm of public & outdoor art. Since the mid 80's they have specialised in creating natural habitats for both zoo animals and wild animals as well as spectacular theming for visitor attractions and TV by using novel and innovative sculpting techniques.
Since 2004, the group has moved in to the realm of public/community art and creative education programmes. The team have developed their own low cost sculpting medium and artistic techniques, they are keen recyclers and upcyclers and maintain that sustainable development is the key to the way they work, it is this message that they are keen to pass on to communities and schools. "Ordinary objects can make extraordinary art"
At present Eccleston George is.....Nigel George. Chris Eccleston. Spike Oatley. Rich Murphy, Darren Brazer and sometimes Julian Winslow.
They are always keen to colloborate with like minded artists, craftsmen and creatives in order to learn more and expand the teams talents.
They are particularly proud of their part in the formation of 'Dragon', a totally unique project for students with special needs.
