This Page is the Official Ebusua Investment and Social Club Page of the Ebusua Club in the San Francisco Bay Area.

History of Ebusua Club: In the summer of 1997, Dr. Alfred Le-Grand Sawyer (shown on the right in picture), Mr. Ben Arhin and Mr. Sam Enchill got together to form an organization that would benefit Ghanaians living in the Bay Area.

Previous attempts to form such an organization had failed and there was concern that this new effort would suffer the same fate. After much discussion, it became obvious that only dedication, commitment, passion and devotion could drive the achievement of this goal and establish a lasting organization.

The team launched Ebusua and solicited participation from the Ghanaian community. Within months of communicating this intent, the membership of the club doubled in size and has continued to grow ever since. Membership has been purposefully maintained at eighteen families to facilitate the logistics of monthly meetings but Ebusua, as the name suggests, maintains a large group of friends who support its activities and help achieve its aspirations.
