I am mixed Walloon-Budza, and my family moved from the greater Congo back to Belgium when I was 11. I carried out my higher education in Canada, Belgium and the UK, and I worked in Belgium and Italy before relocating to Switzerland, where I currently live.

As a kid, I always enjoyed drawing. Having done black & white photography at school, I carried on taking pictures during my design studies. Over the years my sketching and viewfinder framing have influenced each other.
