Trying to take pictures seriously is new for me (as of summer 2009). I had a Canon Rebel XT for a couple years, but I never used it as anything other than a big, heavy, point n' shoot camera. In the summer of 2009 I upgraded to a Canon 5D II, collected a few new lenses, read a number of books, and am doing my best to take shots that might not just be for the immediate memories only.

When it comes to my pictures, I appreciate positive feedback to keep me going, but I appreciate critical feedback even more to keep me advancing. Please feel free to tell me everything that's wrong with a photo. Sometimes I already know, and I simply couldn't manage to get what I wanted, but more often than not, I just don't know, so please tell me. :)
