If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket- safe, dark, motionless, airless--it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable."

I appreciate art above most things. Its noble, pure, raw emotion memorizes. I adore exploring and I read too much. I'm coming into my own skin, and all I wish is to show the beauty that I see. Mostly, in an effort to prove to myself that great beauty resides inside and around me, just as my heart so deeply believes. I can't call myself an artist, but I'm on an artistic mission, that I can say. And taking photos helps me to remember, reminisce, and move forward. It's my solace, and the click of the shutter still makes my heart flutter.
