I am an amateur photographer, playwright, essayist and video maker.

I have always thought I had a decent eye for an image, but for most of my life I pointed and shot and used the automatic settings. I've been a video maker for five years and last year I bought a higher end video camera and started experimenting with manual settings and focus. I was hooked. Now I am experimenting with still shots. When I am going out specifically to shoot pictures I use a Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi. I always carry a Sony Cybershot DSC-W290 with me wherever I go in case I see something that catches my attention..
