Erik's photographic eye reflects his dry, wry sense of humor. He's a man for all seasons, figuratively and literally. His photos have a sense of adventure and promise, as well as a confidence in technique that I admire and learn from every time I visit his photostream. I've known Erik since high school, but I am only now through his pictures feeling like I am getting to know him. Yet another example of how Flickr really can help people connect and keep in touch.
