I got my first camera when I was about 10 years old. Ever since that time I was always the one taking pictures during family gatherings, school outings and holidays. Which means that now I have boxes and boxes full of pictures and negatives eating up my storage space...

When I moved to New York in 2001 I got my first little digital camera - with the city being so photogenic. But I still had my regular SLR camera also doing lots of Black and White. Only for my trip to Africa this year I decided to go digital (filling 20 rolls of films of lions and zebras just walking out of the picture didn't seem very tempting...!).

So here I am, happy with my Canon 350D, learing, being curious and trying to develop my own style. I love Flickr and I get a lot of inspiration and ideas out of the comments I get and the great pictures I see. It's a really cool site and I am definitely hooked with the flickrities-bug so I'm sure to keep it going...! ;O)
