From January 2014 I switched to Adobe Lightroom 5, primarily because I wasn't happy with Aperture's noise reduction feature (and most of the online training videos involved pros using Lr). So, after over a year of learning it, I began posting re-processed versions of selected photos from my Flickr albums to Instagram, as a travel photography series. From 2015, I began focusing on developing my skills as a portrait & event photographer after realising my travel photos were predominated by landscapes bereft of human interaction (and, thus, not as successful as travel photos should be). This led to me incorporating off-camera flashes in my repertoire and learning how to control/enhance light.

I've come far, and I'm still learning.
