Born in Blackpool, in the old nissen huts near where Pontins is now, Mum & Dad (ex RAF) moved in there after the second world war - moved to Mereside in 1952, and lived on Mardale till late 60's when I moved to Cleveleys and got married, Mum and Dad lived out their lives at Mardale.
