There are some people that just touch you with their kindness and caring nature, they make you feel good about yourself, and they do it with the goodness in their hearts, and not for anything in return! Babsi is one of those people! She has been my friend here on Flickr for quite some time, and i am truly honoured about that...... she is a wonderful, joyful young woman, her happy nature never failing to make me smile! Her photography is varied and beautiful, she even uses the same camera as i do!!! Looking through her stream is a joy.....if you are looking for a perfect flickr contact then you won't go far wrong by adding Babsi, she is a specail photographer and a very special person!! Meet Babsi and her sisters and friends. Barbara is an aspiring young and fresh photographer from the Cologne/Bonn area in Germany. Her macros, stills, landscapes, portraits, her feeling and understanding of colors, shapes, and composition are quite astonishing. Her ability to see things, and her post processing skills are far better than mine. I wish I had her fresh approach to and view of the world. And which 16-year-old cites Freeman Patterson? "Seeing, in the finest and broadest sense, means using your senses, your intellect, and your emotions. It means encountering your subject matter with your whole being. It means looking beyond the labels of things and discovering the remarkable world around you." (Freeman Patterson) I wish the world had more young photographers like Babsi. She has what Michael Freeman calls "The Photographer's Eye". And now go and have a look at her pictures, which amaze me again and again. And expect the unexpected.
