I am a computing consultant, basically a systems analyst and programmer as well as telecommunications technician. In 1987 I had my first article (Apple II program) published on a magazine. In 1991 I started writing technical articles for magazines and newspapers but then, around 2001, I decided to leave this underpaid and quite shady sector. Basically there is a huge gray area between information and advertisment, which I do not like. Advertisments should carry a special logo not to mislead readers. In 2023 I started writing the occasional article again.

Been into photography since childhood, on and off. I send my good stuff to an agency and, from time to time, I get paid. If I was going to take 100 good photos per month, maybe it could actually be a job. In reality I do not even take a good one per month, so it is just a partially paid for hobby. Never mind. I still like the experimentation part, though. My phtos have been used for books, magazines, web sites, advertisments, and so on. You will never find them here on Flickr, though. I am not that stupid.

I also take photos for my articles, usually electronic devices.

I am here to follow people with either good photography, or good stories, or both.

Photos I upload here are either experiments, or funny, or interesting stuff. Not intended to be masterpieces. First of all because I do not make any masterpieces, second of all because I prefere to shoot for work, rather than for clicks, or likes.
