Drag to set position!
The world is a wondrous place, and I enjoy capturing it one click at a time; day or night.

I am a self-taught amateur photographer with a passion for landscape and nature photography. I am drawn to the peaceful solitude that can be found in the great outdoors here in the Northwest. In the last few years I have also found that I really enjoy night photography, where images can create a mood and feel that is unlike photos taken during the day.
I welcome any and all comments; good, bad, constructive, destructive, reconstructive, ….I’m thick skinned, I can take it all. I’ve been so excited about being a part of the Flickr community and having the ability to learn from so many talented photographers from around the world. I truly appreciate all of the great comments and feedback I've been able to get here on Flickr. So Thanks!
Contacts: If you like my work, and want to add me as a contact then I’m truly humbled and honored. But, I will rarely add someone as a contact unless there has been meaningful two-way commentary on each other’s photos. I feel that if I add someone as a contact, that I should be looking at their work and occasionally providing meaningful comments and critiques. If I have too many contacts, I just don’t have the time to honestly stay in touch. Now, that being said, if you have a specific question about one of my photos, a style or technique, or whatever, please just drop me a flickrmail, and I promise to get back to you.
Copyrights: As with all photographers, I’m proud of my work, and I always like to get credit for the shots I’ve taken. If you want to use one for your desktop, by all means, please do. If you’d like to use it on a website, just shoot me a quick message by flickrmail and more than likely I’ll say, “sure, go ahead and use it”. But when my photos are out on the web, it’s always nice to have a link back to my photostream. If you’re interested in getting a print, contact me.
My family – we’re an interesting bunch. ;-) <-- why don’t people put a nose on their emoticons anymore?
