Photography

The moment I picked up that first Pentax K1000 in my 10th grade photography class... I was hooked. I was fascinated with capturing a moment on film and going through the process of putting it onto paper. The first camera I owned was a Canon EF. It was quite used and outdated when I got it, and I used it for at least 8 years... Until it started falling apart.

I found myself with a new job in the technology field. Well, life happened, and quickly... and my passion faded.

Re-hooked

Now, over ten years later, I find the passion has made it's way back, with a vengance even! And what do I attribute this to? Flickr, my wife, and my Daughter.

Flickr because I see such amazing photos everyday, and they inspire me to create my own.

My wife, Melanie, for insisting (almost demanding) that I do the things that make me happy. She is always a pure source of encouragement and positivity.

My daughter, Lauren, because while looking through some old photos I took in college... she smiled and said "you should be a photographer!".
