Dr Williams' School Dolgellau
Drag to set position!
This site tells the story of a girls' school set up in 1878 in Dolgellau, North Wales. The school was a pioneer of secondary education for girls in Wales, but closed in 1975, just short of its centenary. Pupils came from all over the country, from across the world and of course from Merioneth itself to create a unique community which lasted for almost a century.
More about the school can be read on the website: www.dwsoga.org.uk
