I'm a painter and freelance illustrator who does traditional media paintings for books, comics, and games.

Photography has always been important to that work in shooting models and final art, and that has led me to enjoy photography as its own end. My background as a painter was already very heavily geared to thinking about design, composition, shape, and story, and I'm further exploring and learning about these topics through photography.

I also have a love of physical media and a fascination with beautiful, well designed precision devices, which has brought me back around to film cameras in 2018 after nearly two decades of only shooting digital.
