“Dutch Design Quality Mark guarantees & protects Real Dutch Design”

The Dutch Design Quality Mark is an initiative for Dutch designers who are highly educated in the field of design and Dutch design brands whose most designers are highly educated in the field of design.

Kickoff March 2011

Starting from March 1st the Dutch Design Quality Mark will be launched. Dutch Designers can apply for a membership here.

The Dutch Design Quality Mark is the only Dutch design quality mark in the Netherlands. The Dutch Design Quality Mark aims to protect consumers against the miss usage of the term ‘Dutch Design’ by parties that are not qualified.

Dutch Design Quality Mark also aims to regain trust of consumers regarding Dutch Design.

The members of the Dutch Design Quality Mark have to comply with the conditions. Dutch Design Quality Mark checks the members and their qualifications.

When a Dutch Design Quality Mark member doesn't comply with the rules the consumer can file a complaint, after which the Dutch Design Quality Mark investigates the complaint and will try to solve the problem.

In cases that the problem is not solved and the Dutch Design Quality Mark has the opinion this is due to the member, the possibility exists that the membership will be ended.
