I don't do cute titles. Words don't belong with pictures. If the picture does not communicate, words will not help.

I like to make the unseen and un-noticed visible. That means 3d, macro, infrared, time exposures with blur, streaks from moving lights, etc. Often it means putting the camera down on the ground and shooting macro.

I have been a photographer since 8th grade (1968 [The picture is me, but from back then]), when I was taking art, and I was too lazy to draw things. I wanted to just take a picture. My first camera was a Yashica A twin lens reflex. I wanted to do macro, so that was not the right camera. My older brother brought me a Miranda Sensorex SLR from Viet Nam. It was not made there, he just bought it there.

Later I bought a Canon Ftb, and I still use it when I need film. I have a cool Vivitar macro focusing 2X converter that goes to 1:1 with a 50mm lens.

What you see here is done with a Canon A80. The 3D is mostly done with a pair of them. (Some is done by moving slightly for the second picture.)
