I have viewed many of Duncan's images, and every one that I viewed is a fave of mine. Why? As anyone can easily see, his images are fantastic and of the highest quality. Full of colour and vibrancy. But, beyond the mere technicalities, there is something else in Duncan's images which I like so much. They show LIFE. As a person, Duncan is one of the kindest people I have had the privilage to know. He is always ready with a helpful note, a kind comment or advice. What can I say about a person I've never met? Alot actually! You get to know someone throught their work, the way they view the world, and the world through Duncan's eyes is a beautiful one. I am inspired to be a better photographer whenever I look at his work. Must also say that it is wonderfully refreshing to come across someone who speaks with such honesty and passion, the world needs more of that. He threatens to leave flickr at times, let's hope that he gets that notion out of his head! I'd have to fly to Scotland and give him a kick in his backside if he ever did! Stop in, check out his work, add him as a contact/friend, have a laugh, be inspired. You won't be dissapointed!

I have many wonderful contacts on Flickr who have been a source of inspiration, support and fun but I have to say with my hand on my heart that Duncan tops the list for me! He is a hugely talented photographer whose passion for the world around us is plain to see in his work. His photostream is filled with the most delightful images ranging from stunning dramatic landscapes to soft emotive bird portraits (his swans and robins are simply superb!) and his anecdotes and comments always bring a smile to my face! I feel very honoured to have Duncan as a Flickr friend and really appreciate the time he spends visiting my photostream and the banter that often follows…yes, even the abuse! ;-) Flickr would not be the same without you Duncan, keep up the good work! I have known Duncan for a long time on Flickr and can only say he is one of the most gifted photographers around. His bird shots are second to none and he also produces wonderful scenic shots. He has a wonderful sense of humour and is also a courageous guy who is not afraid to speak his mind. He is the last person to acknowledge that he has any talent at all and is a very severe critic of his own work but everything that we see here is a work of art! Duncan (NACNUD) has such a deep appreciation of the natural world and photography that his work just sings. His birds are the most wonderful and amazing photographs I have ever seen. He shows us beauty, that perhaps, we may just walk right past without noticing. It is his eye for details, finding wonderful lighting, and searching for the perfect composition, make him a true artist and photographer. I am very proud and happy to call him friend...he inspires me daily. He is very supportive and kind, and I look forward to his comments. I do agree with Piesces of Romance, duncan was one of my first contact on flickr! He always made me drema with his pictures of nature, of swans and always with a little sotry about them !
