I've always enjoyed art and when I left school in 1980 I studied a two year art foundation course in college, which is where and when I discovered an interest in photography. My first SLR was a Canon T70 but as a young man with limited funds I found the costs prohibitive. With the advent of the personal computers, and my involvement in the IT industry, I discovered desk top publishing and my interest in art was rekindled. I've had several digital cameras over the years and thoroughly love trying to capture what I see in my minds eye. In 2019 I decided to take the plunge and upgraded my Nikon D3200 for a full frame Nikon D850 but quickly realised that my interested also extended to videography and I swapped the Nikon for the Sony A7III last year, which I absolutely love.

I enjoy walking with my dogs, kayaking, camping and I'm lucky enough to live in a most beautiful part of the world with wonderful photo opportunities on my doorstep. I hope you enjoy my images and I welcome any comments and new friends...
