It's been awhile since I've picked up a camera and taken pictures. I used to be quite the photographer. I don't really know why I ever stopped...I just...did.

When my mom recently passed, I inherited her cameras. One of the first Canon EOS Rebels and her Sony Cybershot digital camera. The Cybershot was a retirement gift to herself and she LOVED that camera. Now that I have mom's cameras, I find the need to take pictures again. This has inspired me to upgrade to a Canon Powershot S3 IS. I love it!!! It takes amazing photos and it's small enough, I can take it anywhere!

My mom was a photographer my whole life and taught me how to shoot. We even had our very own darkroom back in the olden days WAY before digital photography. I don't remember any of the technical stuff unfortunately. The only thing remains is my great eye (at least that's what I've been told).
