Hey there!

I'm Chad.

I've been at this photography thing for a little while now. I got my first SLR during the summer of 2010, and quickly fell in love with photography.

[Feel free to join my crusade to stop putting the "d" on the front. They've been around long enough now that it should be assumed that we're talking about a damn digital camera.]

It's not my day job; maybe one day, but until then it's a good way to exercise the creative demons. I only know enough to know that I'll never know enough.

Flickr has been a great place for a little education, direction, and inspiration. I don't get as much time as I used to to pour through every photo everyone puts on here. Honestly, I suck at uploading current work, and at being a contact, in the social-sense. Nonetheless, I do take the time to catch up on work from others when I find the time to get on here.

And, I don't mean that in a pretentious "I'm so busy with my glorious photography career to ever grace this place with my awesomeness." kind of way.

Don't pretentious people piss you off? None of us know it all, and most of us don't have an unlimited bankroll. We all started from scratch. And, that unlimited bankroll can only get you so far anyway. I have a family, a job, and usually a wide variety of personal projects coming out of my ass.
