i named this flickr after dumbo in brooklyn. a neighborhood i fell in love with in the late 90s years ago it was a deserted space between the two bridges that was seemlingly invisible to all but artists all anyone ever saw was the road to manhattan nothing below dumbo was silence dumbo was isolation it meant not running into another person or moving car i loved it and will always harbor very warm feelings for the dumbo that was
to be clear, this flickr in no way references the dumbo that is currently overrun with boutiquie shishi bougie bullshit fancy overpriced co-op stuff today's dumbo spells death yeah it's odd like brooklyn in general changed and not for the better.
