There are going to be a lot of dumb dad pictures here, so be warned.
I'm still trying to find my "style". I love black and white but sometimes color is just too hard to pass up. I love macros and close close-ups. I love capturing the tiniest of details, the texture of a butterfly wing or the rainbow of light relected of a dragonfly's eyes. I also have a new found appreciation for street and candid photography. Capturing an event whose start, middle and end was just a few seconds is exhilirating, and frustrating at the same time. I love landscapes and sunrise/sunsets. Birds, lizards, mice, bugs and all the other critters that live in the more rural areas here. Plants are fascinating. So many different shapes, sizes and colors. Buildings are great too with they're clean lines and weathered forms. Can't forget old wood and barbedwire. I guess the common theme amoung all of these is texture, contrast and form. To me a good photo has one of these, a great photo has all three. One of these days I'll settle on one or two or three, but right now I'm having too much fun to choose. The world is my oyster. :)

I've started a photoblog where I will be posting a new image everyday, kind of a favorite of mine listing. A lot of them will be repostings from here, but I may have "photoblog exclusives" that you can only find there. I may also be adding a moblog picture of the day too. We'll see.
