I first picked up an SLR in 1985 and continue to be a rank amateur. As a pastime, however, photography is good for the head and good for the soul. I still often shoot on film (mostly black and white), despite being a digital early adopter. Now also loving mirrorless and the flexibility of adapters. I have more prime lenses than I really need, including what now passes for 'vintage'. I seem to be also collecting 1950s Zeiss Ikon cameras with Novar triplet lenses. These have become my preferred kit for low light long exposures.
