I'm a San Diego native, back after a few years at Humboldt State in Northern California.
I work as an environemntal monitor on construction sites in various parts of the county.
I haven't been able to afford a digital camera yet, so I'm still using my old Nikon FM2. My main lens is a Nikkor 35-135mm zoom, with some macro capability. I also recently broke down and bought a 70-300mm, and I have a 50mm and 35-80mm.
Some of my Civil War re-enacting photos were made with dispoable cameras hidden in a small canvas bag, as I can't have my camera in the field in uniform.
I re-enact with G Company of the 6th US Infantry based in San Diego.
Beyond cropping, I do very little photo manipulation.
Note: In Oct '09 I bought a used Nikkor 105mm micro.
Note: May '10 I brought a used Nikkor 80 -400mm, and through I really haven't given it a good shakedown yet, so far I'm impressed. Though I didn't realize it would be such a beast.
In August 2010 I opened a second portfolio to post old family picts, and a variety of other old picts.
