I cannot remember a time when I did not have a camera somewhere near me. This does not mean that I am a good photographer, more a very enthusiastic snapper. I confined myself to holidays, Motorsport events, family photos etc, never considering that my little hobby would be any more than that. It did seem a shame sometimes, especially in this digital age that so many of the photos I had taken seemed destined to languish forever on a hard drive unseen by friends or even people with a similar interest.

An accountant by trade, a change of circumstances in late 2010 allowed me to embark on a tour of New Zealand via the Far East, and this re-invigorated my love of photography. Purchasing a Nikon D90 also helped. Since then I have spent a lot of time studying photography, improving my skills and, naturally, taking a lot of pictures.

I specialise in Live Music photography, combining two passions in one - A love of live music and a love of Photography. Striving to get THAT picture in far from ideal conditions is a real challenge and gives me a huge buzz. I also enjoy Street photography, finding the faces that tell a story, that candid, unguarded moment, the fleeting glimpse that catches the eye (or the shutter if you prefer).

I also enjoy motorsports, travel, in fact anything that gives me an excuse to reach for the camera and capture that moment in time.
