My artistic pursuits are sort of "all over the place" . By training, I'm a violinist. I studied music at Northwestern University and Yale University. I performs regularly with the Honolulu Symphony, The Gemini Duo, and The Hot Club of Hulaville

A "sort of trained" chef, I studied a little bit of baking and pastry at the Culinary Institute of America. My food is best described as California Cuisine with Eurasian overtones.

A self-taught photographer, I've been taking pictures since I was 14 years old when I stole one year of his brother's allowance money to buy my first SLR camera (A Canon AE-1).

Duane volunteers his photographic talents to the Littlest Heroes Project, a non-profit based organization made up of professional photographers nationwide that provide free photo sessions to our nations Littlest Heroes. This is their way of giving back and taking a stand for these children who sometimes feel forgotten because of their illnesses.
