The act of creation brings me joy. This is why I take photos.

I'm a native of the Pacific Northwest but now live in Farmington Hills, Michigan.. If you look through my photostream, you'll see photos from all over the US, Canada, Puerto Rico. I travel a lot for work and bring my camera along with me when I can.

I am very passionate about art. When looking at others' photos, I'll often notice ways that they compare to paintings. And, since the rules of composition really apply to both areas, it's a nice synchronicity.
