The Darlington Traditional Brewing Group was formed in 2002 when John Winterburn, was approached to run a course on Traditional brewing methods.

The course was an instant success and so began The Darlington Traditional Brewing Group

We are a small friendly group of craft brewers who enjoy brewing our own beers to the traditional full mash system, we source most of our ingredients directly from major suppliers which allows us to brew for less than 10p a pint,

We currently have 12 members who brew in Backyards, sheds, kitchens, virtually anywhere there is space, we meet once every 3 weeks to sample each others brews, and to swap and discuss recipes.
