I would say my passion for photography started when I was maybe around 7 years old. I was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and still live in the area of Harrisburg. I started out with my Dad's Kodak Brownie (we all remember them) and yes we were that young once LOL. I would say that most of my work is traditional in style. It says something about life, the human condition, and our planet. One frame, one moment, catching the subject unaware is the power of photography. I try to tell a story in an intimate, powerful, and provocative way by studying the subject's movement, personality, depth, and gestures. I like to shoot unscripted moments of intimacy. I look for results that entertain, enlighten, and inspire; that evoke some kind of emotional content; and that can maybe transport the viewer. If the viewer feels something from my image, evoking feels of movement, a thing, event, or place then it is successful. Freezing a moment in time is the essence of photography. Just a little moment of time captured in the box; a moment that can't possibly be captured again.
