I'm married to my best friend ( more than 27 years!), I'm Dad to three great kids, I work as an engineer (chemical, thank you) and safety consultant and I rediscovered my interest in photography a while ago (a frustrating episode with a digital point-and-shoot...). I used to shoot Pentax (and I do again!) generally in ambient light. I've discovered Strobist and I'm exploring the possibilities of (inexpensive) light.

When not working or taking picts, I'm singing (four three different groups as a bass/baritone), reading, skiing (8 minutes away from Wachusett - little hill, great grooming), ferrying kids, playing with kids, watching kids, hangin' with the honey (not nearly often enough) and/or with friends/family.

Work takes me to neat places (in MA, in New England, NJ, SC, BC, WA - in weird locations). Traveling... is not fun. But it beats unemployment.
