I live in Arkansas. I am married to a wonderful man. I have two sons,a daughter, and four grandchildren. They are a blessing to me. They are some of the blessings that gave me my Flickr name.

In the past I had a passion for taking pictures, but somehow during the years lost interest.

I am new to Flickr and have found some beautiful pictures on here. It has renewed my interest.

I am a Christian, (not perfect, but forgiven). I hope to live my life pleasing to Christ.

I am retired, but will be attending our community college starting January 2009 full time. I plan on going back to work when I finish a two year program.

I didn't have a computer until last year (2007) and have found so many things to occupy my time with on one. Flickr is one of my favorite sites to go to. Hope to make new friends through it. I appreciate any comments.

UPDATE--2013: I graduated from UACCB in May 2011 with an Associates degree in Medical Office Management. I found a job in June, 2011 and have been working at Ascent Children's Health Services since then as Administrative Assistant.

My daughter is the one who got me set up on Flickr and here is her site if you would like to see her pictures:

My MOM is my hero! What a role model she's been in my life! I can honestly say that my MOM is the reason that I love photography! Growing up, it seemed like she was always taking pictures. And the collage of pictures in our house!!! It goes against every decorating tip I've ever heard of, but I love it and have since modelled my own how after this. Still to this day when I go to her house, I study the pictures...they bring back so many memories. MOM and I didn't always get along when I was younger (that was my fault) but as I've grown older and have (in some sense) walked a mile in her shoes I've come to realize just how amazing she really was and still is. She's always supported me in everything that I've done (even though she wouldn't sign for me to go to the Marines when I was 17...mothers know best, you know). I thank God every day for giving me the MOM that he did!
