Typically when someone adds me as a friend on Flickr, I'll click through, glance at a few pictures and add them back. I just went through every single picture in drop the heat's stream in utter amazement—at first glance, simple party pictures, second glance had me wondering if I was looking at film production stills. As I continued, I realized that these are candid, real, unposed and utterly brilliant. On their own, every single photo is good. Together, they form a document of a type that can transform a simple time and place into something that exists beautifully in history, a happening, a scene, the type that gets people to pack their bags and move to where ever the hell it is that this guy's shooting.
