I am an orthodontist who has practiced in Charleston, S.C. for that last 20 years helping patients improve their smiles.

To become an orthodontist, I had to become a general dentist first ( DMD degree) and then attend 2 extra years of postgraduate education to receive my specialist degree.

Twelve years ago, the Invisalign system was established and I became certified in Raleigh, N.C. at that time. In twelve years, I have treated over 300 patients. Because of my experience, I achieved the Invisalign Preferred Provider status in 2010. In 2013, I was awarded the Invisalign Elite Preferred Provider having treated 100 patients in 2012.

What do these designations mean? Invisalign only lists orthodontists or general dentists on their website who treat a lot of patients with Invisalign and therefore recommend only those with the best experience.

If you have been told, "You are not a candidate for Invisalign" it is possible that you may be a candidate for treatment by someone like me who has a lot of experience using Invisalign.

We are here to help!
