Retired microbiologist. live in beautiful Ayrshire countryside with hill nearby and the sea not far surrounded by horses, hens,ducks,geese and sheep. I engrave glass, look at stars ( when the clouds part), ski and run marathons ocassionally.

I also serve on the childrens panel and stand in occasional local government elections.

Contrary to what Dr Dawkins says I manage to be a scientist and a practising -well one never gets perfect - Catholic.
