69 years in May; married; 1 son, 1 daughter; 3 grandsons; 1 great-grand daughter; 1 pet, a dog; live in small farming town in east-central WA state; like gardening & fruit growing (organic), camping, all sorts of fiber/fabric arts, reading, some music, & life; earned my PhD late in life & am retired from my life-dream of the curator for the Phaseolus Germplasm Collection in the United States .
