I am happily married to my wife of 55 years. Yes, we celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary June 6, 2009. We have 3 children, 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

I am a retired Baptist pastor after 50 years in the ministry. Prior to that I was serving in the USAF flying the Far East, Pacific Rim route. I have been on medical missions to Africa, Haiti, India, and the Philippine Islands, I also served 18 years as a volunteer Law Enforcement Chaplain in Northern California.

We currently live in Shasta County - Northern California and love being a part of the rural atmosphere of northern California.

I have been taking photos for the past 65 years for my enjoyment, starting out with a Brownie box camera, Argus C-3, Pentax 3000, Olympus digital, Fuji digital, Kodak C743 , the Nikon D-60 with 18-55 mm and 55-200 mm lenses, Nikon D- 3000, and now the Nikon D-90.
