I’m back! I have been locked out of my site by Yahoo for about 5 years, but access has been restored by the new owners - for which profuse thanks are due! Please do register as Flickr Pro to support them!

I must apologise to everyone leaving kind comments - now from many years ago - who I couldn't reply to while I was locked out. They are all much appreciated!

Special apologies are due to followers needing permission to use the photos.

The aim of this Flickr site is to collect photos of species of wildlife found in my garden in Briantspuddle, Dorset.

In addition there are some other photos of wildlife within the parish, Dorset and Britain, together with cultivated plants, including my cold-greenhouse cactus collection.

Browsing the website is best done via the Collections tab on the drop-down menu below the three-dot symbol, right below the header. Alternatively you can click the speech bubble on any photo (for comments) and enter the site navigation from the top line there.

The photos are grouped in a hierarchy, from collections down to individual sets, one set per species, eg Garden Wildlife-Garden Butterflies-Pieridae-Large White will take you to all photos of Pieris brassicae, including adults, larvae and other stages if I have them.

By far the majority of wildlife photos are of moths, as they are relatively easy to catch and identify, compared with, say, beetles or flies.
