i love to sew! In fact i love anything crafty that uses up some of the creativeness that i seem to have. I sew something everyday - yes, everyday and any time that i have spare [meaning when the kiddies go for their nigh nigh time hehe] is usually spent stitching together a couple of hexies, doing a little more on my hand embroidery, getting that little bit further with some hand quilting or searching for inspiration on the net.

I love bright colours and funky prints all mish mashed together in a burst of brilliant color and patterns and i love linens and natural fibres too. i love blocks of solid colours mixed together in geometric patterns and i also love blocks of colour and pattern with white spaces too. I love both the look of machine and hand quilting when used appropriately in accordance with the design of a quilt too.

I love the feeling of giving something handmade to someone - it makes me feel so proud! So i spend a lot of time also making things for others as gifts.

I recently opened my own etsy store...dreamfctry.etsy.com...but have struggled to find time to fill it with the beautiful things i am capable of making so have dedicated much time recently to making things happen there.
