Hello, I am Dominique Pontzius and I enjoy making fashion doll clothes!

I first started when my niece had a birthday coming up and I went to the stores to buy her some barbie clothes since she was into that. To my disappointment all the clothes there were skimpy or "casual". I grew up with fancy gowns and coats since barbie dolls were to live out balls, soirees and garden parties.

I turned to the fabric stores and fell in love with 3 tiered ball gowns. Picking up some remnant fabric, thread and needles I got busy ... needless to say I was sorely unprepared for the "joy" that awaited me.

I didn't have a cutting table, sewing machine, fabric scissors, or even an understanding of how to translate the instructions ... I was lucky it turned out so good. All that has changed over the years. I now create my own fashions using fun fabrics that feel good to the touch and won't fall apart after a few uses. Best part...most are machine washable.

Since then, I've gotten more under my belt and a bigger passion and curiosity for sewing doll clothes. My nieces have since outgrown playing with their dolls and I just want to share the fashions that I make with people that will enjoy them.
