Mateo (Robert) is one of the most brilliant artists I know. His profound sensitivity shines in his works. Also clearly evident - at least for me - the various states of altered perception in which he enters when creating. Mateo (Robert) is a multiple artist. Not an artist dissociated from reality. But an artist living different realities at different times. (And on this I know something because I also go into an altered state of consciousness when I create some art, and even when photographing.) And the result is the rich and deeply intriguing works created by Mateo. Beside all these Mateo (Robert) is one of the most sweet and adorable that I have the fortune to call friend!
