July 9, 2025: Dear friends, today I'm returning to Flickr after a five-year hiatus. I'll have the pleasure of sharing your photos again and offering my own, as an exchange of lasting friendship through photography. Greetings to all.

Vivo desde siempre en Bahía Blanca, Provincia de Buenos Aires, República Argentina.

La vida pasa segundo a segundo, y cada segundo es un instante de vida. Lo que está a nuestro lado se puede palpar, lo que está cercano se puede ver. Y poder ver es, tal vez, el mayor don del hombre.

La pintura fue el arte que precedió a la fotografía y de esa manera conocemos las formas de vida desde mucho tiempo atrás. Lo que no ha sido dibujado o pintado, salvo que siga existiendo, debemos imaginarlo. Podrán decir que la foto deja poco para la imaginación, pero cada foto tiene su historia, su lugar, su momento, su emoción. Es única... Y quien dispara el obturador, lo hace por un motivo, a veces superficial; una instantánea. Si el motivo es profundo, lo hace con el sentimiento ambiguo de quien tiene el poder de retener esa imagen para disfrutarla nuevamente en el momento en que lo desee, reviviendo una y mil veces ese preciso instante. Pero, a su vez, quien tiene la oportunidad de apreciarla, también deja volar sus sentimientos; y asocia, opina, recuerda y se emociona, extraña, sonríe, llora...

Y así, cada foto se comparte física y virtualmente, tanto a través de los ojos y la mente del fotógrafo como en los del observador, que la hacen suya en una misma simbiosis personal y hasta casi egoísta: "la imagen y yo".

La fotografía digital ha transformado este arte en universal. Muchos sacan buenas fotos. Pero solo algunos "sienten" la foto, antes, durante y después... Humildemente, me incluyo entre estos últimos y agradezco a Internet y el maravilloso software, que me han permitido volver a los añorados álbumes de figuritas; aunque ahora las "figuritas" las diseño yo, con una máquina fotográfica, mientras pasa la vida...

I have always lived in Bahía Blanca, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Painting was the art that preceded photography, and that way we know the ways of life from a long time ago. What has not been drawn or painted, unless it continues to exist, we must imagine. They may say that the photo leaves little to the imagination, but each photo has its history, its place, its moment, its emotion. It is unique ... And who shoots the shutter, does it for a reason, sometimes superficial; A snapshot. If the motive is deep, it does so with the ambiguous feeling of one who has the power to retain that image to enjoy it again at the moment when it wishes, reliving once and a thousand times that precise moment. But, in turn, who has the opportunity to appreciate it, also lets their feelings fly; And associates, thinks, remembers and gets excited, strange, smiles, cries ...

And so, each photograph is shared physically and virtually, both through the eyes and the mind of the photographer as in those of the observer, who make it their own in a same personal symbiosis and even almost selfish: "the image and I."

Digital photography has transformed this art into a universal. Many take good pictures. But only some "feel" the photo, before, during and after ... Humbly, I include myself among the latter and thank the Internet and the wonderful software, which have allowed me to return to the longed-for album of figurines; Although now the "figurines" I design, with a camera, while passing the life ..."
