I build stuff for a living and for fun. I watch lots of movies (some good, some not-so-good, some so bad they're good), I read just about anything I can get my hands on, and I listen to way too much music (of all kinds). When I'm not busy being geek of all trades, I also enjoy the great outdoors (anything from snowboarding or mountain biking to napping out on the hammock in the backyard)

I'm originally from TX. I hung out in Boston/Cambridge MA for several years and occasionally went to classes at a pretty good engineering school. Eventually that school gave me a diploma. I suspect they did this in order to get rid of me before I ended up living in their basements. Once I graduated I found myself wondering what to do and I ended up back in TX. After many years there I made my way to the Virginia Beach area for work and I'm enjoying exploring a new area.

I've always enjoyed photography, but lately I've been making an effort to take more and more photos in the hopes of improving my skills and reconnecting with something I loved doing when I was younger. Of course this is an ongoing process, but it's one that I'm enjoying greatly.
