I am a former physicist and retired educator that has been dabbling in photography and working with the computer for many years. The cameras that I am presently using are the Sony Alpha 7RMII, the Sony Alpha Nex7 with several prime lenses and the Sony RX100 VI. I dabble in Photoshop CS4, Lightroom 5, Corel Draw & Photo-paint, Corel Painter and a little in Bryce. I am strictly amateur class in these endeavors, but first class in my enjoyment of pursuing them. I started taking pictures when at the age of 14 I bought my first 35mm camera. That was back before range finders and light meters were included in the camera body and you had to use the depth of field scale on the camera lens to judge what was in focus. I took pictures on and off with still cameras into my thirties. Then let it slip away until about 1993 when I got interested in making pictures using the computer. That was before the digital camera. I was scanning old photos into the computer using a hand held scanner and trying to modify them with various programs. At that time I owned a video camera which I used with the computer to capture stills out of the moving frames. With the invention of the digital still camera my interest was rekindled. I bought my first digital still camera back at the end of 1999 and have upgraded cameras and added to the computer programming ever since.
