I have lived close to Stockport all my life and got interested in railways when I was just a boy. I have my grandad to thank for that as he used to work as a ganger and would regulary walk the lengths on the Buxton Line and the Rose Hill to Macclesfield Line. I am also a keen railway modeller see posts on instagram and you tube. The name of my layout is " Ashford Model Railway"

I am interested in nature and the natural beauty of the countryside and enjoy the peace of mind and sense of wellbeing that comes with it.
