Although I shoot all sorts of things, when I get the itch, I grab my macro gear and go exploring. My mantra is stolen from Calvin and Hobbs - "There's treasure everywhere!" I often stay in one spot until the shot comes to me.

My photographic life changed forever when I made the leap to digital, trading in my trusty old manual Minolta for a (then) shiny, new Nikon D70. A second shift happened when a friend lent me his 105mm macro for a trip up North. I was hooked, and snagged one on eBay a few weeks later. Virtually every shot I've framed, showed, or sold has been shot with this lens.
