So...around March, 2009, my interest in photography got the best of me, so I picked up a canon eos 50d. Before that , about 20 years ago,( not including a few point and shoot models) my last slr camera was a vivitar v2000. The technology has changed a bit since the vivitar.

My general photography interests are Nature, Macro, and Architecture

I am learning all over again so mind some of the quality issues....

I have also resolved to stay away from the automatic modes of the Canon as much as possible...I'm trying to reconnect with my manual roots...but I sometimes get lazy...

I see my Flickr page as a visual record of my experimentations and a great tool for the learning process in this medium. I'm not posting just my best work, but just about all the work that i have shot and processed.
