I have been taking photos for a few years now, starting with a Nikon D3100 bridge camera and two kit lenes, back in 2013. I progressed to the Nikon D720 and bought my first prime lens which was a 50mm 1.4. Wow! what a transformation. It was at that time I realised the joy of taking photos and so my journey began. Moving forward a couple of years, I now own a Nikon D750 with a number of lenes plus a Cannon 1D mk5, again, with a couple of lenes. Both cameras are fantastic although a bit old in the camera market of today. So, I hope you will enjoy this photography journey with me as I seek to improve on all aspects of this fascinating world of photography.

Update: in 2024 I sold my Cannon 1D mk 5 body and replaced it with the Canon 5D mk IV much smaller and lighter to carry then the 1D so far am happy with it. Hopfully in 2025 I will replace my Nickon D750 for a D850, I will keep you posted.
