Photography and oxygen keeps me alive. I love both of them. My father used to work with twin lens reflex cameras. I work with manual and AF SLRs both.

I wrote and got published my short stories and articles in some of the reputed commercial magazines during my school days. Studied Engineering but started my career as a photojournalist. Worked with The Times of India Group for more than a decade during terrorism in Punjab. Then shifted to video journalism and film making.

Film making is not just a profession for me its a passion. Sometimes for a change I do oil painting on canvas. When you can not play with light and shadows reading books or writing articles are the best options for time utilization. When you are suffering with writer's block, bad weather or traffic jam the best way out is to go for a classic film. Pen,Books and cameras are my best companions. Everything becomes useless in this universe when 'anyone' who loves me, needs my nearness.
